  • To start out I love my Galaxy S5. Right now I don't know if my problem is with something I've set wrong or if it's Facebook. When I first got my phone I had no problem sharing pictures and video on facebook. Now a couple of weeks later I can't get pictures to download. I'm hoping it's the application and not my phone cause I truly love my phone!

    • Any specific error message? Some Facebook photos or videos cannot be downloaded. Are you facing the problem on all pictures in Facebook ?

      • It's all of my photos and videos. The message I get says your photo failed to load would you like to try again? I have tried with several photos and videos all with the same results.

  • When I am using my phone for 5 -10 minutes and I'm about to take some pictures a message says that I cannot use the flash until my phone cooled down.As well I noticed that the back of my phone started to get hot. I think that's not normal, right?

    • It depends on many factors. The ambient temperature is a very important factor.

Also, the apps you are using may be important as well (e.g., use all CPU and GPU powers).

Anyway, for 5-10 mins usage, this is probably not normal unless the ambient temperature is above 35C.

  • My GS5 screen just went blank. It vibrated, so I went to see the notification and noticed my screen was black. The battery still had about 87% remaining. The only lights I see are the buttons at the bottom (home key, back key, etc). I took the battery out, held the power button for about a minute and then waited about an hour to put the battery back. When I powered the phone back on, the screen was flickering a lot, I can barely make out anything on the screen. It looks as though it has taken transmission hits (I work in TV). The phone is about 4 months old and has never been dropped. It is enclosed in a Defender Otterbox case. Thoughts?

    • Because the phone is still under warranty, you can visit local service center to check it throughly.

You should also backup your data and files to the pc before it's too late.

If you really want to try by yourself, you may boot the phone into recovery mode, then reset the phone. You should backup your files first.
